The indelible FAQ

1 Are these questions really frequently asked ?
No, I’m pulling this out of my ass. Thought it sounded ok.

2 Who makes all this ?
Ah conveniently interested person of my imagination, I do. Me being Ian, I’m a student at HOWEST, currently studying biochemistry.

3 Why call it the indelible stamp ?
It’s a reference to one of my favorite quotes. Charles darwin wrote it down in the descent of man. It goes as follows :

“We must, however, acknowledge, as it seems to me, that man with all his noble qualities, with sympathy which feels for the most debased, with benevolence which extends not only to other men but to the humblest living creature, with his god-like intellect which has penetrated into the movements and constitution of the solar system — with all these exalted powers — Man still bears in his bodily frame the indelible stamp of his lowly origin.”

Basically I’m imagining a future me laughing at what current me thinks. I’m hoping that one day I’ll be able to look back at these posts with nostalgia.

4 Have you even read the descent of man ?

No, It’s just a quote I really really liked. I am reading the origin of species at the moment however and I can assure you one darwin book a year is more then enough.

5 Why do you use the nickname Sir Ian ?

Well Sir has an ironic ring to it. On top of that it’s the nickname I like to use for games. No matter how mad they are you, no matter how revolting a character find you to be, they’re polite about it so that makes it ok.
